Sofia Vergara and ex-husband Joe Manganiello have reached an agreement to finalize their divorce.

According to sources cited by People magazine yesterday Friday the former couple entered into a written agreement regarding their property and marriage which has been submitted to the court.

The 51-year-old actress and the 47-year-old actor announced their split in July in a low-key announcement shared with Page Six.

The former couple married in 2015 at the Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida and have been together for nearly seven years.

“We have made the difficult decision to separate,” they wrote in their statement.

“As two people who love and care deeply for each other, we kindly ask that you respect our privacy at this time as we move into a new phase in our lives.”

Two days after the joint statement, Manganiello filed for divorce from the actress, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

In January, Vergara revealed to Spanish newspaper El País that she and Manganiello were not on the same page when it came to expanding their family, and their differences eventually led to their divorce.

“My marriage broke up because my husband was younger. She wanted to have children and I didn’t want to be an old mom,” explained the “Griselda” star. “I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother,” she added.
