It seems that a certain romance went beyond fiction and arrived in real life. Actors Humberto Carrão and Duda Santos were seen kissing in the Folia Tropical box, on the second day of the special group’s parades in Sapucaí, in Rio de Janeiro.
Even though the actress denied the affair —hours earlier, she swore that there was nothing between them—, witnesses caught the two meeting on the third floor of the box. Carrão returned to the place after the Mangueira parade and, in addition to the kiss, received a warm hug from Santos, who hung around his neck.
Duda Santos plays Santinha in the first version of “Renascer” (Globo) and Carrão plays José Inocêncio. The chemistry between the couple in the soap opera was highly praised by viewers.
Carrão paraded through Mangueira and, upon arriving in Sapucaí in the early hours of Tuesday (13), he said he was single, “enjoying Carnival and enjoying life”, dispelling rumors that he was getting involved with Santos or Grazi Massafera.
When leaving the box, Folia Tropical organizers offered a security guard to escort him to the taxi rank. “I don’t need an escort, thanks. He’s my security guard”, he said, pleasantly, pointing to a long-haired friend.
