“I have endometriosis, an autoimmune disease that every woman should read about. There are some medical and hormonal issues going on in my life right now, but I’m fine.” he continued.
Schumer pointed out that the female body has “historically” been understudied compared to the male body.
“I also believe that a woman does not need to make excuses for her physical appearance and owes no explanation. But I wanted to take this opportunity to advocate for self-love and self-acceptance.” he added.
In her post, she shared the poster of the series she is “proud to have created” and co-starred with Michael Cera’s “Life and Beth,” reports the Daily Mail.
“I feel strong and beautiful and so proud of this TV show that I created. That I wrote. Which I directed and starred in” added the comedian.
