In 2022, during a basketball game, singer Adele, 35, was filmed with her lips apparently fuller and became a meme. But anyone who thinks that the British woman adhered to aesthetic procedures is mistaken.
The artist herself responds and states that she has no interest in touching her face. “I have naturally big lips. I don’t need fillers. The reason I looked like someone else is because I was angry,” she said during one of her “Weekend With Adele” shows in Las Vegas.
The moment was recorded during a basketball game and was remembered by her. As Page Six reports, Adele says that, in fact, she was angry at not being able to maintain her anonymity in the audience.
“I was very angry because I asked not to be filmed. Obviously, I know, I was sitting there on the court at the game, whatever. Rich [Paul, marido de Adele] I was working in a room, you know, talking to players and people. And I was fine,” she said.
