The participation of Isabelle Nogueira, cunhã-poranga of Boi Garantido at the Parintins Festival, has made something rare happen: BBB 24 has managed to generate more audience than the remake of “Renascer”, Globo’s nine o’clock soap opera.
Since the last week of January, the reality show has been the most watched program on television in Manaus (AM). On the 31st of last month, the attraction achieved 31 points compared to 28 points in the serial written by Bruno Luperi. On this day, Isabelle escaped her first wall.
In February, between the 1st and 15th of last month, BBB 24 also achieved more numbers than the production of the nine. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays of this period, the show achieved 30 points against 29 for “Renascer”, according to data obtained by F5.
Each point is equivalent to around 20 thousand viewers in Greater Manaus. The numbers are impressing Globo and Rede Amazônica, the broadcaster’s partnership in the North of Brazil.
Because of the success and the public’s curiosity about the culture that Isabelle Nogueira belongs to, Globo opened conversations this week to try to facilitate the broadcast of the Parintins Festival, one of the biggest cultural festivals in the country, held in Amazonas.
Negotiations are at an early stage. Executives from the broadcaster in Rio de Janeiro sought out representatives from Bois Garantido and Caprichoso, responsible for the party, scheduled to take place in 2024 between the 28th and 30th of June.
They were informed that there was already a conversation with Rede Amazônica, a Globo affiliate in the North region. The Rio representatives intend to schedule a meeting later this month with Garantido and Caprichoso.
Globo’s idea is to show the event throughout Brazil, whether streaming via Globoplay or pay TV. But everything is still at the very beginning, in what has been internally called “initial dating”.
