Jonathan Azevedo says he spent ‘incredible years’ at Globo and is emotional in farewell: ‘It changed my life’

Jonathan Azevedo, 38, used the networks to say that he signed the termination of his contract with Globo this Thursday (29). The actor got emotional in a video when he thanked the years he spent at the network since arriving to play Sabiá in “A Força do Querer (2017)”. He says that the character in Gloria Perez’s plot changed his life.

“Seven years ago, I was arriving at Globo to play a character called Sabiá. I spent seven years working with incredible people. He changed my life, my family’s life and will change the lives of my son and everyone where I came from ” Jonathan began. His last work at the network was as Odilon, in “Terra e Paixão” (2023).

The actor, who also told a little about his career since starting at the Spectaculu theater school, in Gringo Cardia, going through the group “nós do Morro” and until arriving at Globo. “I want to thank everyone at Projac, the people who welcomed me,” he said. “Thank you, Globo. Thank you, Sabiá. Thank you to everyone who helped me get here.”

He continued: “Thank you to everyone who saw me working at this company knows how much I don’t just dedicate myself to the company, I dedicate myself to being myself within it. Bringing a little of where I came from, a little of my vision of life, a little of my pain and a lot more of my loves.”

Jonathan recalled in the publication’s caption that the exclusive contract with Globo has ended, but that he does not see it as an end. “Soon I’m back to live other lives, characters and stories.”
