Andressa Urach discharged after giving birth to Leon

Model Andressa Urach, 34, was discharged after giving birth to Leon. The news was released by herself in a video on her YouTube channel. “It was 12 days and I wanted to thank the hospital and the team. We are very happy,” she said.

Her biggest difficulty now is breastfeeding. Andressa had one of her breasts bandaged because of complications and difficulties. “I’m extremely sick, very bad. I had a horrible migraine this morning, my right chest is stoned and I’m in a lot of pain”, she said.

On February 4th, Andressa, then 33 weeks pregnant, needed to be hospitalized after having spikes in high blood pressure, feeling a headache and many contractions. According to her husband, Thiago Lopes, the couple was worried about the baby’s health.

The father posted videos on the model’s YouTube channel to give details about the situation. “Will you have Leon now?”, said Thiago, playing with his wife as they made the registration form at the hospital. She had to be hospitalized for 12 days.

On the night of the 11th, little Leon came into the world. He was born premature, at the 34th week of pregnancy, but he is doing well and did not need to go to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit), as Andressa herself stated, on her YouTube channel.

The baby was born around 8 pm, measuring 46 centimeters and weighing around 2.5 kg. “He is beautiful people, he doesn’t seem to be a premature baby”, said the mother, who had been hospitalized for a few days, after having peaks of high blood pressure, feeling a headache and many contractions.

“The doctor thought it was better for me to win him because he had been suffering a lot for six days, I was, psychologically speaking, at my limit. They understood, then, that it was the best for Leon to arrive at that moment”, said Andressa in a video recorded still at dawn, straight from the hospital.
