After amusing fans by being irritated by a request to paint her nails nude or in a “French” style, Alcione, 76, joked about the situation and showed that she did not follow the advice of producer Carlos Fernando Marão.
In the early hours of this Wednesday (6), she showed off her nails decorated in the exuberant way she has always adopted – in addition to her hand full of shiny, golden rings.
“I’m not a French woman!” said the singer, repeating the phrase from the video that went viral. “You must have already seen Carlos Marão ‘disturbing’ me when I was getting my nails done, right?”
In addition to the result of the manicure session, she shared the video that became famous on social media, including the swear word she released right after denying the “French” style.
Alcione gained the support of celebrities, including the also superlative MIlton Cunha.
“Chô, francesinha. Chô, nude. Alcione is Mesopotamian, cataclysmic”, wrote the former carnival worker.
Fans also remembered an old nickname for the samba singer, called Loba because of her imposing style and the song of the same name, one of her biggest hits.
“Know that I’m not stupid. Underneath the skin of a cat I hide a wolf”, sings the artist.
The singer’s producer said that the video “I’m not a francesinha woman” had more than 2.3 million views and was covered in newspapers, websites and TV shows.
Even First Lady Rosângela Silva, known as Janja, commented. “I’m not a nude woman either,” she said while showing off her burgundy nails.
Alcione performs in celebration of 50 years of career this Friday (8) at Espaço Unimed, in São Paulo, with sold out tickets.
