According to the website Radar Online, Cruise had rushed in and made a marriage proposal and ended up hearing an unexpected “no” from Elsina. Initially, the woman accepted the proposal, but was later impacted by the actor’s intensity and rush in making plans for the ceremony.

In May 2023, the actor and Shakira traveled together at the Miami stage of F1 and many of the duo’s fans hoped for a romance.
