Andréia Horta cries during the Oscar 2024 broadcast on TNT

Andréia Horta made her debut as a presenter on TNT at the 2024 Oscars and the actress was moved when she heard Da’Vine Joy Randolph’s speech when she won the award for Best Supporting Actress for the film “The Rejected”. She plays lunch lady Mary Lamb, a woman who loses a son in the war and goes through the stages of grief in the production directed by Alexander Payne.

“I always wanted to be different, and now I realize that I just had to be myself. And I thank you for seeing me. God is so good. I didn’t think I was supposed to pursue this career [de atriz].
