The “political references” at yesterday’s awards
There were very few … over-the-top songs and blunders this year at the Oscars. Shine, emotion and laughter monopolized yesterday’s evening, which was deemed a success.
Of course, there were also “political references” – such as the presence of the native Osage tribe, on the occasion of Martin Scorsese’s film Killers of the Flower), which did not win any awards, although it was nominated in 10 categories.
Also, during the evening some of the attendees wore a red badge which symbolizes the request for a cease fire in Gaza.
However, what monopolized the interest was the “controversy” of this year’s host, Jimmy Kimmel (Jimmy Kimmel), with Donald Trump.

Shortly before closing the ceremony, Kimmel read a post on Donald Trump’s social networks, according to which the former US president claimed that Kimmel is the worst Oscar host, the ceremony is boring and the awards are unfair.
“President Trump, thank you for watching us but…isn’t it time you went to jail?” Kimmel said, and the room erupted in laughter and applause.
