“As an environmentalist I have the utmost respect and love for our natural environment”the actor said. “However, I made an impulsive mistake—one I don’t take lightly—when I entered a thermal area in Yellowstone National Park to take a photo. I did not see a posted sign warning of the danger, nor did I hike in the immediate area.

I deeply regret my offense and sincerely apologize to everyone for trespassing on this sensitive area. Yellowstone and all of our national parks must be cared for and preserved for all to enjoy.”he added.
