Jeff Bezos will donate $100 million to the actress Eva Longoria and Admiral Bill McRaven as part of the Amazon founder’s annual award to individuals who make significant contributions to society.

The price “Jeff Bezos Courage and Civility Award” totaled $50 million for both Longoria and McRaven, which will be used to help those in need.
Bezos and his fiancee, Lauren Sanchez, have presented the award annually since 2021 (although Bezos did not present an award last year). Past recipients include Van Jones, José Andrés and Dolly Parton.

The actress, known for her work on the series “Desperate Housewives”, founded the Eva Longoria Foundation in 2012, with the aim of helping her fellow women create a better future for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship.
