The singer announced her next album on Instagram with a photo of herself riding a horse
The countdown to her next album Beyonce, “Act II”, officially launched, as noted by the superstar herself on Instagram. In her post, the famous artist revealed her album cover, holding an American flag.
“This album was over five years in the making”Beyonce wrote. “It was born out of an experience I had years ago where I didn’t feel welcome… and it was clear I wasn’t”. In 2016, the singer faced backlash from the mainstream country community after releasing a country song.
Beyonce also noted in her post: “My hope is that a few years from now, the mention of an artist’s race, when it comes to the release of genres of music, will be irrelevant.”

She also added that after a “deeper dive into the history of country music” she saw “how music can unite so many people around the world, while amplifying the voices of people who have dedicated much of their lives to shaping our music culture.”
