The graphic novel titled No Remorse: The Illustrated True Stories of Lemmy Kilmister and Motörhead is an oral history and features contributions from rock icons such as Dave Grohl, Ozzy Osbourne, Lita Forte, Dave Navarro, Lars Urlich and Slash. In addition, the other members of his band, Phil Campbell, Mickey Dee, collaborate for the book.

In total, 25 personalities were paired with 25 artists, telling stories about their personal encounters with the late Motörhead legend. Illustrators include Dave Chisolm, Jim Manfood, Bob Fingerman.

The cover was illustrated and designed by Tim Bradstreet.

“Until then I had never met what I would call a true rock and roll hero”, Dave Grohl recounts in his foreword to the graphic novel. “..Elvis, Keith Richards, Lemmy is the king of rock and roll. A living, breathing, drinking, snorting legend. No one else can match him.”

The Foo Fighters leader and Nirvana member was one of Lemmy Kilmister’s closest friends, who has been a source of influence throughout Grohl’s career. This influence and relationship is even immortalized in the form of a commemorative tattoo on Grohl’s left arm.

The book will be released in several collector’s editions, including one that comes with a white vinyl version of Motörhead’s legendary No Remorse LP, as well as a tripartite poster by designer Hydro74.
