Speculation among fans about a possible reunion started when the group members – Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Camila Cabello – sent supportive messages to Normani Kordeifollowing the announcement of her new album Dopamine.

Among the supportive emoji reactions, some of the band members made comments. Dinah Jane wrote “there she is”, with Jauregui excitedly commenting “let’s gooooooo”. Shortly after Dopamine’s announcement, Page Six reported that the band were “discussing” a collaboration, with Camila Cabello, who left the band in 2016, participating in “early discussions.”

However, according to sources who spoke to Rolling Stone, Fifth Harmony, who announced an indefinite hiatus in 2018 to focus on solo projects, will unfortunately not be reuniting anytime soon.

The band fondly remembered the powerful impact of their music after TikToker Noah Miller’s video went viral, with fans showing their love for single ‘All in My Head’.

“Fifth Harmony revival?!” Ally commented on TikTok after sharing the video. “We were iconic and we still are.” Lauren Jauregui added: “When people finally realize that this was a hit (we knew).” This isn’t the first time Fifth Harmony have cleared up rumors that they’re reuniting, with the group – formed after its members auditioned for The X Factor in 2012 – denying similar speculation in October 2023.

In an emotional tweet, Brooke explained that while rumors of their reunion weren’t going to turn out to be true, the band members’ friendships were going from strength to strength. “I’m excited to see there’s so much interest around Fifth Harmony,” she tweeted.

“Reunion has many meanings and while there is no official band reunion at this time, some beautiful friendships and relationships are slowly being reunited in a healing and empowering way.”

We’re holding out hope for a future Fifth Harmony comeback!
