Greece will compete in the 3rd place, in the second semi-final, which will take place on May 9. In the same group will be Austria, Estonia, Georgia, Malta and Norway, among others.

Cyprus will appear 1st in the first semi-final on May 7, “opening” this year’s Eurovision contest.

As to which position might be more favorable, commercial breaks always play a role.

We don’t want to be after a commercial break, as the commercial breaks in Eurovision are very short and the viewer might zap and miss the first song.

According to the bookmakers, the songs currently in the top six are Croatia, Ukraine, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium, while Marina Satti and ‘Zari’ are in 7th place.
