The Oscar-nominated director undertakes the film adaptation of “Caught Stealing” and at the same time prepares a film about the life of Elon Musk
After a strong start to 2024 with ‘Masters of the Air’ and ‘Dune Part 2’, the Oscar nominee Austin Butler (Austin Butler) will star in the crime thriller, “Caught Stealing” directed by Darren Aronofsky (Darren Aronofsky).
The new Sony Pictures production will be based on the book of the same name by Charlie Huston, who will also undertake the adaptation, reports Deadline.
“Caught Stealing” will focus on Hank Thompson, a former baseball player and in his fierce struggle for survival in her underworld New York in the 90s.
“I’m thrilled to be working with my old friends at Sony Pictures to bring Charlie’s adrenaline-pumping rollercoaster to life. I can’t wait to start working with Austin and my family of filmmakers in New York,” said the Oscar-nominated director, who will also produce the film.
At the same time, Aronofsky is preparing with the production company A24 a film about the life of the billionaire businessman Elon Musk, based on the biography of Walter Isaacson.
