The actress is married to producer Ramona Agruma and the two are mothers to Royce Lilian, two years old. Before undergoing the fertility procedure, Rebel embarked on a “healthy journey” on her doctor’s recommendation.

“No one, besides my mother, wanted me to lose weight. People think I’m going to lose my roles as a funny fat woman in films”, said the actress, who began a routine of walking, a high-protein diet and psychotherapy to change her relationship. with the food.

“Young women shouldn’t be obsessed with looking like a Victoria’s Secret model. They should look like themselves. But my relationship with food is complicated,” said the actress, who said she is happy with her current “curvy” body.

“People ask ‘hey, how can you be body-positive if you keep hating yourself?’ But I don’t hate myself. I hate my shameful behaviors, like eating a whole tub of ice cream every night,” she says, describing herself as an “emotional eater.”

In her autobiography, the actress details her struggle with an eating disorder. “It’s not a magic pill, an amazing diet or exercise. It’s about working through your emotions in a healthy way. I hope telling my story can encourage people to make healthy changes in their lives,” she said.
