AEK Betsson-Marousi: For the strong start in the playouts

by

The first matchday of the third round of the Stoiximan Basket League closes with an interesting match, after the AEK Betsson welcomes in the Closed of Ano Liosion the Maroussi for the playouts (20:15, ERT 3).

The Union ended the first two rounds disappointingly, as they failed to enter the first sixwhich means that if he manages to get the two spots from the playouts leading to the playoffs, he will play data with Olympiakos or Panathinaikos ACTOR in the first round. It was yet another setback in this year’s negative season for her AEK Betssonwho however wants the pink sheet so she can do her best in the last remaining goal.

On the other hand, the Maroussi finished the first 22 games with a record of 7-15, which, while not impressive, was enough to give him a safe distance from the tail Apollo of Patras. Despite the many changes of coaches and players in the general instability, the goal of the team from the northern suburbs was to stay from the beginning, and it seems that unexpectedly it will be achieved. From there on, the Marousiotes will fight for a ticket to the playoffs.

As for the problems, except for AEK Betsson will be the Brandon Knight, Dimitris Flionis and Justin Tillmanas well as Jordan Morgan who is no longer registered in the league. As far as Marousi is concerned, all the players are at his disposal Nikos Vetoula.

The refereeing trio of the match will be Karpanos-Tiganis-Zakestidis.
