Christiane Torloni ends fixed contract with Globo

Christiane Torloni, 67, is no longer a Globo employee. The actress announced on the networks on Monday afternoon (1st) the end of her fixed and exclusive contract with the broadcaster. She used a video of her participation in the program “The Masked Singer Brasil”, the day before, to talk about her departure from the company.

“And with this very fun moment I end, with a flourish, my partnership with TV Globo, which in the 1970s was called Venus Platinada!”, began Torloni in the text. The actress now joins the team of artists who start to work for the right job at the broadcaster, following the example of other actors such as Mateus Solano, Nicolas Prattes, Regina Casé, Paulo Betti, Gloria Pires, Carolina Dieckmann and others.

She highlighted the soap opera “Gina”, where she gained her first protagonist and acknowledged having lived through one of Globo’s best times. “I’m proud to have lived through the Golden Era of a company that had the best of its time! It’s worth checking out Fragmentos, from Globoplay, with images of ‘Gina’ (1978), my first protagonist”, she commented.

Christiane started at Globo on the soap opera “Duas Vidas” (1976), where she stayed until 1986. The following year, she worked on the soap opera “Corpo Santo” on Manchete. She also acted in “Kananga do Japan” on the same network. She returned to Globo to act in “Araponga” (1990).

She then mentioned other important work around the house and thanked him. “I am grateful to everyone who contributed and who continues to support me. I learned that my Art, more than entertainment, is Consolation and Hope for many who live alone, hospitalized or in nursing homes for the elderly. My vocation is my North! Let us continue.”
