The billionaire founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, and his fiancee, Lauren Sanchez, was among the guests at the official dinner hosted by US President Joe Biden in honor of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife Yuko at the White House.

As People reports, the couple recently returned from a trip to Japan where the family explored temples, tried traditional painting and strolled among cherry blossoms.

For the occasion, Sanchez wore a fitted red creation with a lace corset and satin skirt, while the famous businessman opted for a black tuxedo and bow tie.

According to CBS News, the theme of the event was “a celebration of spring.” Guests dined on an East-meets-West menu that included shiso leaf pancakes as an appetizer and filet mignon with shishito pepper butter, fava beans, morels and cipollini for a main course. Dessert included salted pistachio cake, matcha ganache and ice cream.
