There are more and more foreign publications highlighting Naxos and the Small Cyclades in the top positions among proposals for vacations in Greece with themed travel experiences. They stand out

At the same time, the Times published an extensive feature on the largest island of the Cyclades. “Naxos has it all, from ancient history and epic beaches to picturesque villages and a culinary culture that is unique in all of Greece,” says the travel guide’s editor.

An international first was recently won by Heraklion, which according to the German website freundin.de which is followed by millions of travelers, the island “conquers” the top among the 7 ideal Greek destinations for peaceful escapes in idyllic natural landscapes! “Both in the previous three days and during the Catholic Easter, Naxos was a pole of attraction for a large number of tourists from Greece and abroad. There is optimism for the dynamics of our destinations in view of the Greek Easter and the upcoming tourist season”, pointed out the Deputy Mayor of Tourism of the Municipality of Naxos and the Small Cyclades, Vangelis Katsaras, who added that “throughout this period, a wide circle of our contacts with agencies such as the EOT Offices, journalists, travel guide publishers, television producers and bloggers, in order to strengthen our footprint at national and international level”.
