Marina, the girl who worked in the viral bar of Kallithea and who made it famous with her line, “Scorpio is for you. PAM”, was fired and the news made the rounds of the internet again.

Marina’s video reached at least ten million views, with celebrities humorously copying it – even the Greek police used her line to promote an anti-alcohol campaign.

But in the end, this girl was fired because the owner of the shop and her ex-girlfriend, was jealous of her success, as she told On Time newspaper.

“After the success of the video with me and what I said, I am no longer working with ‘Scorpios’. People were coming, fans and asking for me, others were giving me champagne…The owner didn’t like that. When money comes into play, friendships fall apart.

Maria stopped me from the shop. She didn’t like people coming and asking for me. They were saying “where is the brunette who says PAM?”. He wanted to reap the success of her and the store. It brought out jealousy, I think, and malice. Too bad, because we’ve known each other for so many years…” said “Pam”

For her part, the owner of the store claims that she kicked Marina out because she was drunk and ran the store up and down.

“I kicked her out. He turned the shop upside down. He got drunk one night and started swearing at everyone and throwing glasses. I’ve known her for fifteen years. We know what happens when he drinks. It happened many times. We have had complaints from customers. I had to kick her out because she was running the shop up and down. The world that has experienced it, knows it.”

Now the now famous “PAM” is making online plans for the future.
