Celine Dion spoke about her battle with the syndrome Stiff Person Syndrome in a rare interview in French Vogue. This is the big comeback of the famous singer.

Celine Dion, 55, looks stunning in her new photo shoot, posing topless in an oversized white shirt and shorts.

The singer, who revealed she was diagnosed with the rare neurological disease in an emotional video in 2022, shared how she deals with this ‘beast’, explaining that every day is different and she has now learned to live with the condition.

When asked how she manages the new reality, she said: “I’m fine, but I still have a lot of work ahead of me. I take it day by day. Five days a week I do sports, physical and voice therapy. Now I have to learn to live with it and stop doubting myself. I feel beautiful at 55…’.

“At first I was wondering: why me? How did this happen? What did I do; Is it my fault? Life doesn’t give you answers. You just have to live it!”said the famous singer with disarming honesty.

And he added: “I chose to work with my whole body and soul, from head to toe, with a medical team. My goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again!”

Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) is a degenerative condition that causes muscle tension and uncontrollable spasm. Eventually, it leaves sufferers looking like “human statues” as it gradually “locks down” the body and people can neither walk nor speak.

There is currently no cure for the condition, however there are several things that can be done to slow down the symptoms, which Celine revealed she is investigating.

The star last made a surprise appearance on stage at the Grammy Awards in February, as he presented Taylor Swift with the award for album of the year, after a several-year absence.

It was the first time she has been seen in public in months and now the singer has also revealed if she will ever take to the stage again. “I can’t answer that… Because for four years I’ve been telling myself that I’m not going back, that I’m ready, that I’m not ready. I do not know. My body will tell me.”

The singer, originally from Montreal, announced in 2022 that she suffers from Stiff Person Syndrome. In the shocking video he published, he said, among other things: “As you know I’ve always been an open book and wasn’t ready to say anything before, but now I’m ready.

I have been struggling with my health for a long time and it has been very difficult for me to face my challenges and talk about everything I am going through. I was recently diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder. Although we are still learning about this rare disease, we now know that this is what is causing all the seizures I have had.’

Detailing the impact the condition has had on her, Celine Dion continued: “Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes making it difficult to walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing like I used to. I have a great team of doctors who work by my side to help me get better and my lovely children who support me and give me help.”
