The film depicts the story of Emma Schmidt, an American woman whose demonic possession culminated in painful exorcisms, as reported by Variety. Her case remains the most thoroughly documented exorcism in American history.
The script is signed by the director with Enrico Natal, while the production is by Andrew Stevens together with Mitchell and Natalie Wells. Alongside the two protagonists are Ashley Greene and Abigail Cowen.
