With a pin-up style outfit, child actress Lorena Queiroz welcomes, this Tuesday (22), famous and anonymous people to celebrate her 11th birthday at a party inspired by the 50s, 60s and 70s that she holds in Moema, south zone of São Paulo. The celebration is a double dose, as the protagonist of “Carinha de Anjo”, currently rerun on SBT, did not have a party for her 10th birthday, due to the pandemic.
“I love having a birthday party, it’s a day I have a lot of fun. I missed celebrating and seeing my friends I hadn’t seen in a long time. The last time I celebrated was in 2020, because the pandemic in Brazil started later of my birthday”, already celebrated the child actress in conversation with the F5 before the party.
Lorena herself thought of all the details of the event with the help of Daiane Delatorih, organizer of famous parties, who helped create the retro decor inspired by a cafeteria that the young woman usually goes to with her family. Even the skating rink Lorena insisted that she had it at her party. “I’ve never been to a party like this,” says the actress.
On the soundtrack, Lorena says that there will be no shortage of songs from the 50s, 60s and 70s, such as Elvis Presley and the soundtrack of the movie “Grease”, which she has watched several times with her mother, and current idols, such as the singer Luan Santana and the Merlin group. “Also, there’s no shortage of current music that everyone listens to, because I think it has to be mixed. I hope everyone likes it and dances a lot.”
Among the guests is actor Carlo Porto, who played his father “Carinha de Anjo” (SBT), which originally aired between 2016 and 2018. “For me, Carlo is like a father at heart. He was my first father and we got along very well. Since ‘Carinha de Anjo’, our relationship has been very strong, very special. He’s a good friend of mine!”, says Lorena.
At the time she made the soap opera, she was only five years old and still followed all the chapters, which the family made a point of recording at home. “I wouldn’t miss an episode. Today, with the reruns, I keep watching and I often think, ‘Wow, how did I do that? I was very little.’
In addition to the success it had in its first exhibition, the soap opera is part of the Netflix catalog and often ends up appearing in the Top 10 of the platform, in Brazil and abroad. “This is really cool and special for me. Seeing that many little kids are now following ‘Angel Face’, recognizing my work, becoming fans. I think that’s great.”
Recently, Lorena finished recording a series for Discovery Kids, which is scheduled to premiere this semester. Without being able to give many details of the work, she says that her character is called Nina and will send a great message of persistence. “It’s going to be very cool, fun and very cute. I’ve already watched some parts and I’m really enchanted, I’m sure you’ll love it”, guarantees the actress.
Lorena also awaits the definition of the release date of her third feature, “Alice no Mundo da Internet”, directed by Fabrício Bittar, which finished shooting in September last year. In the film, inspired by the classic “Alice in Wonderland”, instead of falling down a rabbit hole, Lorena’s character ends up inside a computer and faces unusual situations in the digital world.
The film was all recorded in chroma key (a single color background that is then cut on the computer and replaced by other scenarios). “I had never recorded a film like this, so I had an incredible learning experience. I can say that it will be a film full of details. It may take a little while, but wait because I’m sure you will love it”, says the young woman. The film does not yet have a release date.
But Lorena is not all about work. Like any young woman her age, she says she can’t sit still and always finds something to do, like playing with her friends in the pool, dodgeball, playing volleyball, doing makeup, recording videos for TikTok or visiting her grandparents, in Pedreira. , in the interior of São Paulo. “I also like to go to my BFF’s house [melhor amiga] and I love watching movies and series.”
As for her musical tastes, Lorena enjoys artists ranging from Marília Mendonça to Olivia Rodrigo, including Luan Santana. “I’m in love with Luan Santana, when I was two years old, I said I wanted to marry him”, she says, laughing, who on the day of the audition for “Carinha de Anjo” was tricked by her mother into not seeing the countryman’s bus. The fear was that she would concentrate.
“I think I would have a heart attack. I only found out about this story the next day and I confess that I was sad, but I think it was good that my mother did it, because I was going to lose my concentration on the test”, admits the actress, who met Luan in a concert by the artist and, later, on SBT, when she was invited to sing with him. Nervousness, however, did not allow her to complete the duet.
Another idol of Lorena is actress and singer Larissa Manoela, 21. She reveals that she was delighted after watching the artist’s show for the first time and at that moment told her mother that she would like to be an actress. She proudly says that she has already fulfilled her dream of singing with Larissa and that it was amazing.
“Larissa Manoela was the person who inspired me, awakened my desire to be an actress. It was great to be able to sing with her, a wonderful experience. I’m very happy to remember those moments that were very special for me.”
Lorena’s other dreams are to travel and see the world, study hard and make several films. “I really want to make a film inspired by one of the books by the writer Thalita Rebouças, which I’m a big fan, it would be a professional achievement for me. Making a film in the United States would be amazing too. Wow, I have many dreams, I’m a girl who dreams a lot.”
