Milhem Cortaz gets involved in traffic fight in São Paulo: ‘I almost got caught’

Actor Milhem Cortaz used social media to vent about a traffic fight he was involved in this Wednesday morning (1), in São Paulo. He said he was going to pick up his daughter from a party when the confusion happened. He said that several men attacked him and he ended up being saved from attacks by employees and customers at a gas station.

“My daughter arrived from the club at 6:30 am and then I went to pick her up at Canindé. On the way, I accidentally closed in on a guy at the entrance to Marginal and, shortly afterwards, I pulled over at a gas station. Milhem had returned to the São Paulo stage with his award-winning solo “Diário de um Louco”, at the beginning of April.

Cortaz, who last year opened an artisanal bakery, Cortaz O Pão, in the São Paulo neighborhood of Perdizes, continued with his story: “The guys at the gas station near Canindé saved me. I almost got caught, but it’s okay. I’m optimistic about the wonderful sun.” The actor also said that he was going to visit his wife, actress and producer Ziza Brizola, who is admitted to a hospital in the capital of São Paulo with dengue fever. The two are parents to Helena, 17 years old.
