Cassie reported him last November, but dropped the lawsuit a day later
Rapper Sean Combs (aka Puff Daddy or Diddy) has a long history of lawsuits and lawsuits. In the last six months alone, he has been sued five times for violence and abuse by four women and one man. Although the lawsuits included non-scandalous photos of the artist with his alleged victims, so far it has been about accusations, about words…
However, this time images from a hotel’s security cameras have surfaced, showing the musician hitting the Cassandra Venturaknown as Cassie, with whom he was in a relationship for 13 years! In fact, Cassie was the first woman to sue the rapper last November, though she dropped the lawsuit just 36 hours later.

The video was recorded at the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles on March 5, 2016. Ventura is seen walking out of a hotel room barefoot, dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt and carrying her purse and a travel bag. He walks quickly down the hall and into another room.
Combs is then seen running out of the room, covered only by a white towel wrapped around his waist, running after her. He finds her by the elevators and starts attacking her. He grabs her by the neck, throws her to the floor and kicks her several times. The musician then drags her down the aisle. After he throws her to the floor, he takes her things and then proceeds to drag her again. In other images he is seen sitting on a chair and throwing objects at her, although she is now clearly visible in the video.
The footage matches what Ventura described in the lawsuit she filed against Combs on Nov. 17, 2023. “The shocking video further confirmed Mr Combs’ disturbing and aggressive behaviour. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude Ms. Ventura showed in coming forward to bring this to light.”Cassie’s lawyer said.
Sean “Diddy” Combs apologized – after the video was published – for the attack on his then girlfriend. “My behavior in this video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions”he said in a post on Instagram. “I felt disgusted when I did it. I feel disgusted now”he added. “I went and sought professional help. I commit to being a better person every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I am really sorry”.
