Courtney Cox guest on CBS Sunday Mornings for the 20th anniversary of the series finale “Friends”mentioned, among other things, the loss of her co-star Matthew Perry, who passed away last October at the age of 54.

“I think he’s probably one of the funniest people in the world. I am grateful to have worked so closely with him over the years.” said the popular actress and revealed that she “feels him close to her” like other loved ones.

“He visits me often, if we believe them. I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew. I feel like there are a lot of people who I think are guiding us. I feel, yes, I feel that Matthew is definitely with us.” he said characteristically.

The two co-stars met when they auditioned for the roles of Chandler Bing and Monica Geller in 1994.

“Thank God for this series!” continues the actress and smiles. “It was at the end of a period when I really ran out of money. I got an audition and when I went and read the pilot I was like, ‘This is great.'”

As reported by CBS News, today thirty years after the debut of “Friends” and twenty years after the series finale aired, Cox is still very close to her co-stars. A few days ago in her post on Instagram she wrote that she will be “forever grateful” while sharing a video of the last scene of the beloved series.

“I don’t know how we managed to play with all those tears. Forever grateful,” he wrote.
