Bruce Springsteen’s concert – scheduled for this evening in Marseille, the only concert in France that the American rock legend would give on his European tour, has been postponed due to problems with the American rocker’s voice, announced the producer of the concert in X.

“Due to vocal problems and on medical orders, Bruce Springsteen is unable to sing and take the stage tonight. Today’s concert scheduled at the Orange Vélodrome in Marseille has unfortunately been postponed to a later date,” said Gérard Drouot.

Concert tickets will be valid for the new concert date, which has not yet been determined. Those who wish can receive compensation for the ticket they bought.

According to images from local newspaper La Provence, many fans of the singer had already started to gather around the concert venuewith a capacity of 60,000, a few hours before the show which was scheduled to start at 20:30 local time.

The 74-year-old legend rock star had announced the postponement of his planned US concerts until 2024 to “recover from a stomach ulcer”.
