Rio court orders Nego Di to delete comments made against Felipe Neto

by

The Rio de Janeiro Court ordered, on an injunction basis, the deletion of posts made by the comedian from Rio Grande do Sul Dilson Alves da Silva Neto, Nego Di against the digital influencer Felipe Neto on X (formerly Twitter). The former BBB 21 participant has 24 hours to delete publications made amid the tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul.

According to the judge responsible for the case, Mario Cunha Olinto Filho, from the 2nd Civil Court of Barra da Tijuca, Nego Di made “suggestive and mocking comments regarding Felipe’s sexual orientation.” He would also have stated that an influencer from Rio tried to promote himself in light of the dramas of the people of Rio Grande do Sul, affected by the heavy rains that devastated several cities in the state.

Nego Di has 15 days to appeal the decision. There has not yet been an opinion on the compensation request made by Felipe Neto as soon as the process was filed. He asked for compensation of R$50,000 for moral damages. In one of the posts, Nego Di calls him a “broke-in” and in another post, a “rogue”.

According to Felipe Neto’s defense, the offenses began when the influencer began to participate in campaigns to collect donations for the people of Rio Grande do Sul. Amid campaigns to help the population, Felipe and Whindersson Nunes, influencers involved in fundraising, exchanged barbs on social media. The two disagree with the federal government’s actions in dealing with the catastrophe and recalled other people’s past gaffes.
