Accompanied by his wife, Ana Paula Siebert, who looked stunning in a Samuel Cirnansk dress and turquoise stone jewelry, Roberto Justus arrived at the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. auction this Monday (3), in São Paulo.
Justus, who will present one of the auction lots, was full of praise for the charity.”The work they do is impressive. We only go to this type of event when we are sure that the resources that will be raised will be managed seriously “, he praised.
According to Justus, the fundraising goal for this year’s Neymar Jr. event is around R$12 million. “The proceeds from this event pay for almost a year of the institute’s expenses,” he said. “Neymar’s family invests resources and guarantees the institute’s subsistence, but it’s cool that businesspeople come”, added Justus, making a mea culpa:
“I always say that Brazilian businessmen are less philanthropic than they should be, and I include myself in that,” he admitted. “We are so worried about our things that we end up forgetting this side.”
Ana Paula Siebert had her eye on lots of travel, such as the Maldives and South Africa. “Maldives is my favorite place in the world”, she added. Justus replied that he came to the auction to encourage people to do good, and not to win the lots.
Father of Rafaela, who will turn 15, the businessman is excited about the big party he will throw for his daughter. “I think it’s the greatest moment in a girl’s life,” he said.
He also spoke about his eldest daughter, Fabiana’s treatment against leukemia.
“She’s at home, well, thank God the treatment is going really well. We’ll soon have Fabi back in action”, he said.
