June 7th. Flávia Alessandra’s birthday, who turns 50 this Friday. Fifty rounds. It is good? Is bad? She responded with a sarcastic video in which she talks about the pressure, often disguised, that women begin to suffer at more or less this age. Flávia feels great and makes a point of making that clear.
“Wow! You look great!” Break. “For your age…” she says, in the almost three-minute clip, in which she reproduces lines she usually hears, making jokes with cliché phrases about the passage of time. Born in Arraial do Cabo, on the coast of Rio de Janeiro, Flávia was honored in her city with a statue and a border named after her — as well as Brigitte Bardot, in Búzios, some 40 kilometers away.
A lawyer by training, she did not practice the profession to dedicate herself to acting in a successful career, in which she highlights the villain Cristina, from the soap opera “Alma Gêmea” (2005). “It was a watershed moment.” Mother of Giulia, 24, and Olivia, 13, Flávia has been married since 2006 to presenter Otaviano Costa. “There is a lot of respect and admiration between us, we value each other’s space so we don’t spend 24 hours glued together. But the lust cannot stop existing.” Find out more about the actress in the gallery below:
