Kate Middleton, 42, the Princess of Wales, spoke for the first time about the cancer treatment she revealed she had in March on her social media accounts this Friday (14).
The princess thanked her for the affection and said that she has had a lot of difficulty dealing with what is happening in some days. Kate, however, says she is optimistic about the progress she has seen.
“I’m making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and have to give in to your body to rest. But on the good days, when you feel more strong, you want to make the most of feeling good”, he said.
Kate stated that the treatment is going well and that she now has the strength to carry out some work from home, which she will start doing in the coming weeks.
“My treatment is ongoing and will last a few more months. On days when I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as begin to do a little work from home”, he commented.
The princess also says that she will return to appearing in public at events with her husband, Prince William, such as the parade in honor of King Charles III, and other engagements during the European summer.
“I’m looking forward to taking part in the King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hoping to join in some public engagements over the summer, but also knowing that I’m not out of the woods yet. I’m learning to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this necessary time to heal,” he concluded.
