Gisele Bundchen and Joaquim Valente they broke up after her ex-husband’s Netflix show ‘The Roast of Tom Brady’.

A source told InTouch Weekly that the spotlight “fell” on Valente, who coached the famous model in jiu-jitsu, before their romance progressed.

Bündchen and the jiu-jitsu teacher first met in December 2021, but reportedly didn’t start dating until June 2023. In February, an insider to the couple confirmed to Page Six that they are “ deeply in love.”

It’s no secret that the two were friends before they fell for each other, as the pair have been spotted spending time together in Miami and Costa Rica since 2022. However, a source close to the 46-year-old Brady hinted that his former quarterback NFL does not agree with the time they decided to share the news of their relationship with the public.

“Joaquim Valente is not used to the media dealing with him and it’s something he doesn’t want”, said the same man. While it’s unclear exactly when they split, Gisel, 43, and Valente, 34, haven’t been photographed together since late April.

According to ‘Page Six’, things in their relationship took a turn for the worse after Tom Brady’s Netflix show, which contained several spikes about the couple’s romance.

“Joaquim Valente became part of the joke. People actually started asking him if this was the reason for their divorce. He hated that,” the source pointed out.

In an earlier interview, the model was forced to deny rumors that she started dating Joaquim Valente before her divorce from Tom Brady in October 2022.
