Sixty years after the first presentation of the play in Epidaurus, the Karolos Koun Art Theater and the New World Theater present Aeschylus’ emblematic tragedy “Iketides”, with the directorial signature of the Artistic Director of the Art Theater Marianna Kalbaris.

Lydia Koniordou, Lena Papaligoura and Loukia Michalopoulou, together with Yiannis Tsortekis and Akis Sakellariou, make up the excellent lead ensemble of a performance marked by the return of the leading Greek tragedian Lydia Koniordou to the Argolic theater.

In the performances of Epidaurus, Marina Satti appears as a soloist, together with the choristers from her own women’s choral form CHÓRES, who take part in the impressive fifty-member Dance.

The premiere will take place on July 21 in Delphi.

Performances will be given on August 23 and 24 at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus as part of the Athens Epidaurus Festival 2024 and on tour throughout Greece.
