Together for more than two decades, Lázaro Ramos and Taís Araújo had a relationship beginning worthy of a romantic comedy film — the kind full of messes in which everything goes wrong, until in the end, surprisingly, it works out.
In an interview with Giovanna Ewbank and Bruno Gagliasso at Surubaum, the couple revealed hilarious behind-the-scenes stories about the beginning of their relationship. There were so many gaffes that, in an apology sent to his beloved, Lázaro says: “My life is a comedy of errors.”
Asked what was the first gift she received from her husband, Taís laughed when she remembered: two kilos of chicken neck.
He explained: “I like to show love by cooking for someone. And she told me that she loved soup and I know how to make a very special soup with chicken necks,” said Lázaro.
“I arrived at his house and he said he had a surprise for me in the fridge. When I opened it, it was a bag with two kilos of chicken necks. I thought it was disgusting”, confessed Taís.
Still in the interview, Lázaro surprised Taís by telling him the most unusual place he ever had sex: at the bus stop.
The two even got laughs from the presenters when Lázaro said that he passed on the flowers he received from Taís, still in the couple’s flirting phase, to another woman with whom he stayed. “I was staying, she was engaged!”, defended the actor.
After some time of reciprocated flirting, the couple only stayed together when the actress broke off the engagement. From then on, she never separated again.
