The video of Maya Massafera sending kisses and making a heart symbol with her hands went viral to the point of becoming a trend on social media. Through written text, the influencer decided to resolve internet users’ doubts and rumors about her voice, which had been damaged after sexual reassignment surgeries.
“I want to start by saying that I’m great and happy! About my voice, it really didn’t work out,” Maya wrote on Instagram, responding to thousands of questions from her followers. She explained that she hasn’t been speaking because, after the unsuccessful surgery, her voice has been failing: “Often nothing comes out. So I decided to wait and speak in my time.”
The influencer also said that, among all the sex change surgeries she underwent, only the one that was supposed to change her voice did not have the expected results. She must soon undergo a new procedure to correct the error and, once operated, she must wait another three months to be able to speak normally.
“I had to wait three months to do it again with all the necessary caution. The three months will end now and I already have surgery scheduled, here in São Paulo. “We still have about three more months for me to talk.”
Maya also said that, contrary to what many people think, she is enjoying the moments in silence: “Learning to meditate, not to say anything, to say only what is necessary”. “I laughed so much these days watching you imitate me,” she said about the videos in which people send kisses, just like her.
