‘The Golden Age’ actress Meryl Streep’s daughter reveals relationship with producer

Louisa Jacobson, 33, Meryl Streep’s youngest daughter, said she was dating a woman. The actress also published a series of photos on her Instagram profile last Saturday (22), including an image in which she appears with producer Anna Blundell, her new girlfriend.

Jacobson, who stars in the period drama series “The Gilded Age”, revealed the relationship on the 75th birthday of his mother, one of the protagonists of “The Devil Wears Prada”. In the comments, users congratulated her on the announcement. “Coming out on your mother’s birthday is so iconic,” said one of her followers.

In the post’s caption, Jacobson, who worked with Dakota Johnson and Chris Evans on the romantic comedy “Materialists,” which is still in production, said she feels “blessed to be entering a joyful new era.” This would be a reference to the headline also shared by her in the same publication. “We’re Entering a Joyful New Era of Lesbian Fashion,” read the headline of a New York Times story.

This, however, was not the first post made by Streep’s daughter in which her girlfriend appears. On June 5, Louisa had also released a photo of the two of them in an image carousel. Anna had also already made a publication with the actress in December 2023; in the caption she wrote: “annual update.” The photo, in fact, appears to have been taken in the same place and day as the one posted by Louise last Saturday (22).

Before dating the producer, Louisa had already been in a relationship with actor Jonathan Higginbotham, whom she met at the Yale School of Drama, where she studied acting. The youngest daughter of former couple Meryl Streep and Don Gummer also has a degree in psychology from Vassar College and has three siblings: Henry Wolfe Gummer, 44, Mamie Gummer, 40, and Grace Gummer, 38.
