On her first day of work at Globo, this Thursday (27), Eliana was surprised by the number of fans who were at the door of Estúdios Globo, in Jacarepaguá, west of Rio. The group, who are on duty at the location, threw a party for the presenter who went to the entrance to talk to people.
“Do you always stay here? What for?”, he asked straight away. “We record content!”, replied one of the “duty staff”. “Ah, I understand! Today I’m part of the content, is that it?”, joked the presenter who made a point of thanking the compliments. “Welcome,” shouted one of the people in the camp.
Eliana was also amused when one of her followers said that her arrival at Globo was highly anticipated. She then went back to questioning why people camped for hours and days at the site. “Guys, now explain to me: do you stay here all the time? There are some people who stay at the airport. I’ve seen it…”, recalled Eliana, who was startled to learn that the majority of people there were divided between the two places.
One of her fans took the opportunity to find out if she will have a live show in her new home and recalled one of the presenter’s successful segments on the Eliana Program, on SBT. “Our dream is to go on the Internet Celebrities!”, she said and Eliana wasted no time: “Oh, guys! It’s Globo Celebrities now”, said Eliana who recorded a report for Fantástico. The program will show the presenter’s presence in the corridors of the channel this Sunday (30).
