In a list of the 100 most influential personalities in Brazil in the first half of 2024, Neymar, Vini Jr., Endrick and Virginia Fonseca appear in the lead. They represent the most popular groups of the social media audience, according to research by Zeeng: athletes and creators.
MC Daniel, Rodrygo Goes, Carlinhos Maia, Deolane Bezerra, Gabriel Barbosa (Gabigol) and Bruna Marquezine complete the list of the 10 most influential Brazilian personalities in the first six months of the year. Along with them, artists, musicians and politicians reach the mark of 359 thousand interactions for a single post and an average engagement rate of over 2.6%.
Dividing the personalities into categories, athletes lead the ranking, representing 28%, followed by digital content creators, with 26%. Next are artists with 20%, ahead of musicians (18%) and politicians (8%).
The analysis was carried out during the period from January 1st to June 30th and takes into account the number of followers on Instagram, the engagement rate per post and the average engagement, which represents the division between the number of interactions by the number of followers in the period, multiplied by 1000.
However, it is worth noting that the average frequency of weekly publications does not make someone more influential, since artists and politicians, with an average of 4 posts per day, lead the count. Next are athletes, content creators and musicians, with 3 daily posts each.
