Carmo Dalla Vecchia says porn addiction has ruined her intimate life

Actor Carmo Dalla Vecchia, 52, has rediscovered his sex life. According to him, his addiction to pornography got in the way of his intimacy and this only changed after he started sex therapy.

According to the artist’s account to journalist Maria Fortuna, in the videocast Conversa vai, Conversa vem, the habit of watching intimate videos meant that the intensity of his orgasm was not as good as before.

“Pornography can change traditional sex, what you really like because you enter into a fantasy that is usually the same. This became very clear when I started doing sex therapy. It was sensational to discover that an orgasm and ejaculation are very different things,” he said.

Married to soap opera author João Emanuel Carneiro, Vecchia said he understood that a good relationship does not necessarily have to end in ejaculation. “I got rid of all the blocks I had. I learned that we can delay pleasure and, with that, stretch it out for a longer time. No one teaches you that. I have never had a sexual partner who has taught me that in my life.”

The actor says that everyone should go to therapy and that he usually gives the contact details of the professional who treats him to his friends.

“He’s been a huge success. People say, ‘Look, I spent my whole life thinking that ejaculating is the same thing as coming.’ It’s not. Another thing I discovered through therapy is that I don’t like a lot of things that I thought I liked in sexual fantasy. I prefer affection to strong touch. I prefer loving sex to wild sex,” he added in the videocast.
