Eight years since the horror-sci-fi series first aired “Stranger Things” on Netflixthe cast reflects on being halfway through filming season five, the final chapter in the “nostalgic look at classic ’80s sci-fi,” as the streaming service’s description states.

“It started when I was 10”says the Millie Bobby Brownwho plays Eleven, in behind-the-scenes footage. “Now I’m turning 20 years old. I feel very strange” reveals the British actress.

Sandy Sink, who plays Max, says she is “enjoying” the filming process. “I owe everything to the series. It put me in a position to continue doing what I love” notes.

Jamie Campbell Bower, the show’s villain Vecna, said the fifth season will be even more important than the last.

Writers have been working on the series’ grand finale since August 2022, and the final season stars Linda Hamilton, Jake Connelly and Alex Brough, among others.

“Halfway to the best cast and crew ever” “Stranger Things” co-creator Ross Duffer said in a recent Instagram post.

His social media page is dedicated to behind-the-scenes photos of the show, which has been nominated for dozens of Emmys in recent weeks.
