Since winning BBB 24, Davi Brito has been facing new image crises day after day. The latest controversy was when he tricked his followers with a photo of a thermometer showing 38.6º C to say he had a fever and could not meet his girlfriend.
It didn’t take long for internet detectives to find the original photo of the thermometer on Google’s image bank, unmasking Davi. The story went down so badly that the BBB champion lost 100,000 followers overnight.
While Davi told his followers that he was “feeling very unwell, with a fever and headache”, his girlfriend, Tamires Assis, flew from Manaus to Salvador to meet him.
During a connection in Brasília, last Wednesday (17), Tamires posted a video informing her followers that Davi had canceled the meeting.
“I’m going to have to return to Manaus because of Davi’s decision. He said he’s not well. I was getting on the plane when he sent me a photo of the thermometer, saying he was feeling very sick,” lamented Tamires.
After the former BBB contestant was unmasked online, Tamires deleted all the photos with him from her social media and unfollowed him. She also posted what appears to be an indirect message to her ex: “No matter the dressmaker, the fabric or the price tag, those who are poor in character are always badly dressed,” says the text shared by her.
The former couple met at the Parintins Festival in June and were soon exchanging declarations of love. Tamires is the muse of Boi Garantido and a friend of Isabelle Nogueira, Davi’s confinement partner.
