Ingrid Guimarães and Mônica Martelli entertain followers with a travel diary through Europe

Ingrid Guimarães and Mônica Martelli are enjoying the European summer with their daughters, Clara and Júlia, aged 14. The actresses, who have already entertained their followers on other trips around Europe, have been sharing their trips to England and Spain on social media, showing their chic — and hilarious — mishaps.

Clara and Júlia, friends since birth, began their trip by going to London, where they took a theater course. Their mothers met them in the English city, where Mônica began filming Ingrid saying her favorite phrase in English to any waiter, vendor or local they encountered: “Let me ask you something…” The phrase has already become a trademark, since, on a previous trip, the daughters recorded their mothers repeating it several times.

Ingrid began her troubles on the trip by losing her cell phone, which had been left in the restaurant bathroom. “We can’t do anything, because we spend the whole day picking up what we lost,” said Mônica. Soon after, the actress appeared, relieved: “It was behind the toilet.” The umbrella, a less precious item and an icon among the most forgotten objects in public places, had also been left behind.

Then, the four of them continued their journey towards Menorca, one of Spain’s Balearic Islands. This time, amidst the sun and the beach, Ingrid lost her credit card, her “tarjeta negra”, as she loved to repeat several times to the tour guide who accompanied them. Finally, the card was found, in the place where they had fun with floats and with the double meaning of where the card would be kept: ‘In the bag’ [bolsa]’ from a man on the team who accompanied her.

On the way to their next destination, they showed the car, full of suitcases, behind which their daughters, who don’t like to be seen, were hiding. “We arrived at the new destination like this… the ‘teenagers’ always hiding,” joked Ingrid in the caption.

The actresses continue their trip to Mallorca, another island in the Spanish archipelago. On their first day there, Monica went into the sea trying not to slip on the slime and Ingrid asked where the best view of the sunset would be: “Let me ask you something…”.

Even before they left, they announced that the vacation would be like a study for a new project they are working on: a film about two 50-year-old women traveling, posing in bikinis and redefining life.
