Former US first lady Melania Trump will release her memoir in the fall.

The book, titled Melania, is described in a statement by her office as “a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who forged her own path, overcame adversity and defined her personal excellence.”

It is the first memoir by Melania Trump, who has been absent lately as her husband, former US President Donald Trump, seeks to return to the White House.

The book will be published by Skyhorse Publishing, which has published works by Donald Trump supporters including former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and attorney Alan Dershowitz.

The release of Melania Trump’s memoir was announced Thursday by her office, which did not release a publication date.

A spokesperson for the publishing house told CNBC that the book will hit bookstore shelves on Sept. 24, just weeks before the November presidential election featuring her husband, Donald Trump, and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris.

The former US first lady “invites readers into her world, offering an intimate portrait of a woman who lived an extraordinary life,” the release said. “The book ‘Melania’ includes personal stories and family photos that have never been shared with the public before,” it said.

Melania Trump, the third wife of Donald Trump, has been an enigmatic figure since her husband announced he would run in the 2016 election. She has tried to maintain her privacy even while serving as first lady, focusing on raising her son Barron and promoting its “Be Best” initiative to support the “social, emotional and physical health of children”.

Born and raised in Slovenia, Melania Trump moved to the US in 1996 to work as a model and met Donald Trump in 1998. They married in 2005 and their son, Barron Trump, was born the following year.
