Actress Bruna Marquezine celebrated her 29th birthday with a charity party for the organization IKMR (I Know My Rights), an NGO dedicated to supporting and protecting refugee children. The celebration took place at a children’s center in São Paulo and was attended by friends, partners and some of the children assisted by the institution.
Some celebrities attended, such as her boyfriend, João Guilherme, her best friend Sasha Meneghel and her husband, and Sabrina Sato with her daughter, Zoe.
At one point during the party, the children surprised Marquezine and sang a song by Taylor Swift, who she is a fan of. In fact, the theme of the party was “Bruna’s Version”, a reference to the British singer’s album “Taylor’s Version”.
The event aimed to raise funds to support the programs of IKMR, which is dedicated to ensuring the rights and dignity of refugee children.
“I met the children of IKMR in 2014 and it was a connection that cannot be explained. It was very impactful and since then I have found myself very involved. I wish I could embrace every cause on the planet, but I found something that touched me deeply,” said the actress.
