Known as Cassie from the HBO series “Euphoria”, actress Sydney Sweeney, 24, was spotted last Monday (28) in Los Angeles with a beautiful diamond ring on her finger. According to People magazine, she is engaged to businessman Jonathan Davino, 37.
The actress does not usually talk about her personal life and also did not respond to requests from the publication, but sources guarantee that the relationship has evolved.
Jonathan is heir to two cannabis franchises in the United States. Their courtship started in mid-2018.
In January, in an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, the actress talked about relationships. “I don’t date famous people. I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in the entertainment industry so I can be normal Syd and it’s easier. I have a great support network,” she said.
At the time, when asked what she liked most about a partner, she said she wanted to be in a relationship with a best friend. “I need to be able to be with someone I can literally hang out with 24 hours a day and never get sick of laughing every day.”
Recently, Sydney said that she asked director Sam Levinson to cut some scenes from episodes in which her character appears with her breasts on display in “Euphoria”.
“There are times when [minha personagem] Cassie was supposed to be shirtless and I would say to Sam, ‘I really don’t think that’s necessary here’.”
“I never felt like Sam pushed me or was trying to put a nude scene on an HBO show,” Sweeney continued. “When I didn’t want to do that, he didn’t make me,” she added, who said that with the 2nd season, she felt more comfortable to give an opinion on the character’s trajectory.
The last episode of the second season of “Euphoria” consolidated the success announced since the production’s debut: the Emmy winner became a highlight on HBO Max, the streaming platform to which she belongs, and on the internet, where she moves fans from all over the world.
In Latin America, the series reached the position of most watched content on HBO Max since the platform’s launch in the region, in June 2021. Created by Sam Levinson and starring Zendaya, “Euphoria” surpassed the special “Harry Potter: Back to Hogwarts”, HBO Max’s most watched debut in Latin America so far.
With the third season confirmed, the North American series exceeded the public’s expectations, which resulted in the number of publications on Twitter. The production caught up with the current affairs in several weeks, whenever a new episode aired.
