Sasha’s husband reveals that he wears Xuxa costumes in music videos

João Lucas, Sasha Meneghel’s husband, likes to explore his mother-in-law’s collection and even try on some looks.

In an interview with the PodDelas podcast, João revealed that he wore Xuxa’s clothes in the video for his song “Minuto de Saudade”, which was directed by his friend Bruna Marquezine.

In the interview, the singer was full of praise for his mother-in-law. “It’s not because she’s my mother-in-law, but she’s awesome. There’s no way a Brazilian or Latin pop artist wouldn’t have her as a reference. In this playful universe that I wanted to explore [no clipe]there is no way not to look at her trajectory”, explained João.

The singer says that, when talking to Xuxa about the idea for the video, the queen herself made her collection available. “She just renovated a huge warehouse that has several items from the set, it has the ship!”, he revealed. “And there is another collection just of costumes of her and the dancers”, the singer revealed.

In the clip, released a month ago, João uses a circus presenter’s staff that belonged to Xuxa. He said that the next clip will also feature items from his mother-in-law’s set.

In a cut of the clip in which João appears dancing wearing a blue toutou, Xuxa commented: “My son-in-law is incredible: he sings, dances, acts and still loves my daughter.”
